    Small Group Descriptions

     

    MARRIAGE

    Marriage Small Groups is a community of married couples who will remind you and your spouse that happy marriages still exist and will equip you for your own happily ever after. No matter your season of married life you’ll find a group that shares your goal of a thriving family!

    FAMILY

    We are witnessing an attack on the family unit at epic proportions today. There was a time when the roles of parents and their children’s disposition was clearly defined. Over time, the identity of the family unit has shifted, and societal norms are more accepted than biblical principles and standards. Family Small Groups are designed to exam biblical truths that will help navigate through family crisis and attacks against God’s original design for the family. We will focus on restoration, growth and healthy family development.

    WOMEN

    Women’s Small Groups is an extension of our Woman2Woman ministry which provides women with a warm, loving environment designed to renew and restore.  Through healthy small groups, women can grow deeper in their relationship with God, build community and life-long friendships.

    MEN

    Men’s Small Groups consist of Bible-based discussions concerning leadership challenges and other issues men face today. These small groups provide an environment that encourages and strengthens men as they grow into the model men God created them to be. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

    SINGLES

    God has the best future in mind for you and joining a Singles Small Group provides an opportunity to build life-long friendships with other singles who are actively pursuing God’s future for their lives. Whether you’ve never been married, are divorced, or are widowed, Singles Small Groups is the place for you regardless of where you’re at in your spiritual journey.

    DISCIPLESHIP

    Our Discipleship Small Groups offer thoughtful and transparent discussions on how God’s Word prepares us to follow Him daily. Some groups may discuss Faith, Holy Spirit, Authority of the Believer and Prayer. Other groups may do specific Bible or book studies. You will have an awesome time developing new friendships and growing in your walk with Christ.

    LEADERSHIP

    John C. Maxwell a well-known expert on the subject of leadership said that leadership is influence nothing more and nothing less. At Faith Christian Center, we are building a culture of leadership. We want our current and future leaders to be equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to infiltrate and influence the seven mountains of culture – Family, Government, Arts & Entertainment, Media, Business, Education, and Religion. Our leadership small groups serve as a learning community to help current and future leaders grow in their knowledge of leadership and become more effective leaders. Curriculum may vary depending on the small group leader’s selection of material.

    PRAYER

    Our Prayer Small Groups offer thoughtful and transparent discussions on the purpose, power, and effectiveness of prayer. The Bible, in addition to other book studies, will be used in groups to discuss how our faith and our relationship with God and others is improved through prayer. A Prayer Small Group is a fantastic way to develop new connections as you grow in your prayer life and in your walk with Christ.

    FREEDOM GROUPS

    Freedom Groups build on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God’s Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your sin, your personal value to God, and your purpose in His Kingdom. This group will help you remove every obstacle to intimacy with God and walk in true freedom.

    OUTREACH GROUPS

    FCC Outreach Groups provides an opportunity to learn the heart of serving others while starting on the path of discovering your gifts and passions. Together as a group we will explore our strengths and discover different areas to serve. The goal of this small group is to gain an understanding of how and where we can be the hands and feet of Jesus.

    BUSINESS

    An FCC Business Small Group is an opportunity for current and prospective business owners to come together to foster creativity and improve efficiency in their organizations. Business leaders hold regular meetings to network and come up with creative solutions to existing problems while having fun! Small Group partners are there to provide feedback, help brainstorm new possibilities, and set up accountability structures that maintain focus and help make the journey of being in business more enjoyable.

    YOUNG ADULTS

    We live in a day and age where young adults are leaving The Church and Faith at a radical rate. Being met with endless expectations and an internal clock that always seems to be speeding up, hope can seem limited. The Young Adults Small Group is a safe environment where our Young Adults ages 18 – 35 will be equipped to thrive in the time. We will explore biblical principles to help breed confidence, provide a release from the world’s expectations, and ignite a hunger and fire for God. Through the Young Adults Small Group, we will define how true fulfillment is found through one’s relationship with Christ.
