    In 2010, Faith Christian Center started the You Got Blessed Project, now Generosity Week, to be more intentional about spreading the love of God throughout our city during the holiday season by doing random acts of kindness for total strangers.

    Live A Life of Generosity

    In Acts 20:35, Jesus said, it is more of a blessing to give, than it is to receive. Generosity should be shown to everyone, it’s not just reserved for those who are in need. What better time to LIVE GENEROSITY than the holiday season? For some people, this season is lonely, depressing, and even stressful. This is why we are intentional about being a blessing to others during Generosity Week. Partner with us this holiday season in living generosity.

    3 Simple Steps to Participate in Generosity Week

    Step 1: Surprise a Total Stranger With a Random Act of Kindness

    Think of a way to surprise a total stranger with a random act of kindness. Anyone can participate. The more the merrier!

    Step 2: Share Your Story

    Capture your generosity with a video, photo or selfie and tag our Facebook page or mention us on Instagram at @fccphoenix using the hashtag #fccgenerosityweek.

    Step 3: Encourage 3 Friends to Join The Fun

    When you post on social media, tag 3 people and give them 24 hours to bless somebody else! #tagyoureit

    Generosity Week

    December 4th – 10th

    Join us for 7 days of generosity, doing random acts of kindness. Not sure what to do? Here are a few suggestions to get you started. Get creative!

    Sunday - Bless a complete stranger.

    Buy someone a cup of coffee or pay for their gas or groceries.

    Monday - Bless someone online.

    Purchase an electronic gift card or an item from an Amazon wish list.

    Tuesday - Bless a neighbor.

    Surprise a neighbor by doing yard work or running an errand for them.

    Wednesday - Bless a first responder or medical worker.

    Do a meal delivery service or a sweet treat.

    Thursday - Bless a school or teacher

    Bless them with something they need for the classroom or a personal self-care item.

    Friday - Bless a non-profit organization

    Bless them with much needed supplies or a holiday treat.

    Saturday - Bless a local business or someone at a retail establishment.

    Bless the workers with a self-care item or a nice meal.
